Further along the cliffs, Gannets were landing on grass in order to collect nesting material

and was partly hidden before flapping off to the edge of the cliff

Sign at the entrance to the RSPB nature reserve on the cliff path - I was glad to see this as I was beginning to get cold and wet as there was light rain during nearly all of the long walk

The Springwatch team were setting up equipment at Jubilee Corner in readiness for the evening's broadcast - by this time it was raining again!

It had been lightly raining, on and off, all day.  I had tried to protect my camera as best I could, but condensation had begun to form on the lens and was causing problems with my photos!

Back at the mobile home, I had to take the lens hood off the camera and hope that the condensation  had not caused any serious problems.  After leaving it to slowly dry out, fortunately, the next day, my camera was back to normal!
