After my morning walk in Flamborough village and lunch in my holiday accommodation, I decided to go for a walk along the cliff from Thornwick Bay
On my way up to the cliff, I saw a male Stonechat
and a female Stonechat
Meadow Pipit perching on one of the posts at the edge of fields near the cliff path
View of Filey and Filey Brigg from the clifftop path
Pretty wild Orchid growing in a meadow
Plenty of Hemlock and/or Cow Parsley in a field at the edge of the path
Relaxed-looking sheep resting in long grass
Northern Fulmar resting lower down on the side of the cliff
Pair of Atlantic Puffins on the cliff edge
Razorbill and False Mayweed flowers
Puffins resting on the side of the steep cliff face
Northern Fulmar sitting on the edge of the rocky cliff
Further on, in another recess in the cliff, there were more Puffins
Some pretty wildflowers on the cliff as I turned round and began to walk back towards Thornwick Bay
Painted Lady butterfly perching on Cow Parsley flower
A third Fulmar was trying to join a pair on the side of the cliff - it was quickly sent away!
There was also an annoying Razorbill above the pair of Fulmars
Peace at last!
Silver-ground Carpet Moth on a wildflower
Relaxed sheep
Lovely carpet of Red Campion and Cow Parlsey/Hemlock in a dip at the edge of the cliff
Heading back towards Thornwick Bay, which is in the distance
It was raining somewhere!
Lots of lovely grasses in front of the holiday park
Back at the holiday park, there was a Chiffchaff on a stem above the hedge by Thornwick nature reserve
Male Greenfinch singing in the late afternoon sunshine
Blackbird singing on top of a pine tree at the holiday park
Flowers from a climbing shrub near my holiday accommodation
Lovely Valerian flowers near the path by my holiday home
